Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, and working collaboratively with other student affairs personnel, the Part-Time Coordinator will provide collaborative support in all areas managed by the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Academic Affairs.
This role provides critical support to the Office of Student Affairs, including exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner, and excellent project management skills. This person will have a high degree of contact with faculty, staff and students and must be able to adapt quickly and professionally. The person must have excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

COMMUNICATIONS
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, including faculty and all staff levels. Manage and maintain student and faculty information in a confidential manner. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Exceptional customer service is the highest priority. Must have strong customer service orientation and attention to detail, with the ability to take direction and feedback, prioritize assignments, manage time effectively, follow through with assignments and projects, and manage expectations from multiple faculty members. Customer service experience preferred, not required, especially in higher education.
Special Schedule Requirements
Part-Time Status This part-time position requires working 25 (twenty-five) hours per week, typically 5 (five) hours daily from Monday through Friday. Adjustments to the work schedule may be available not to exceed 25 (twenty-five) hours per week. The decision to approve any work schedule adjustments is solely at management’s discretion. This position is strictly onsite at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Remote work or hybrid schedules will not be considered for this role.

High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Customer service experience preferred, not required, especially in higher education.
Knowledge & Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
No on-the-job training will be provided on Word and/or Excel skills.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY
No supervision of employees or student workers.
Physical Environment and Requirements
90% of time spent on the computer or on the phone.

Provides general accounting and financial support as needed. This includes processing purchase requests and reimbursements, especially for student organizations and the U-Pass program.
