JOB SUMMARY :
The Center for Health Information Sharing & Innovation (CHISI) Administration & Development Program Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, financial, and development activities across CHISI and the Community Information Exchange (CIE) program. The duties of the Administration & Development Program Director include supporting the long-term strategic, financial, and sustainability (revenue generation and philanthropic) planning of the Center, including the overseeing of daily contracting and financial operations, financial planning and coordination with finance teams, and IPHI administration. This role will also supervise members of the CHISI Center and work closely with the CHISI Center Director, Chief External Affairs Officer, and the IPHI CEO.
This position is full-time, exempt, and reports to the CHISI Center Director (also known as the CIE Managing Director). IPHI's standard work week is 37.5 hours.

ABOUT THE CENTER FOR HEALTH INFORMATION & INNOVATION (CHISI)
CHISI supports the meaningful development of multi-sector data sharing to address social drivers and promote systems change by leading planning, incubation, and implementation of policy and program initiatives. CHISI develops and activates high level project partnerships with a wide variety of organizations and institutions representing multiple sectors to support improving public health and the whole health system.
The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development (BED) are partnering with the Illinois Public Health Institute (IPHI) to develop the first ever community-centered Regionwide Community Information Exchange® (CIE). A Community Information Exchange, or CIE, is a network of health and social service organizations and agencies that develop shared governance to support the needs of community members.
A CIE serves as a care management hub, allowing participating providers to deliver more responsive, more effective community care planning for people who face multiple, often related, challenges (for example, food insecurity, unstable housing, and access to health care).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Administration Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to development activities to all CHISI staff.
- Hire and train CHISI staff
- Monitor ongoing CHISI projects
- Act as the liaison between the CHISI Center team and IPHI executive team when it comes to financial and administrative issues
- Developing and promoting policies that ensure positive interaction and integration of the IPHI policies and systems.
- Ensure support of program management staff, program associates / assistants, and interns
- Participate in the evaluation and coaching of CHISI staff to ensure continued growth
- Support program priorities and program direction, development of program timelines and milestones, and program execution by staff, consultants, and partners
- Nurture an environment that fosters respect, empathy, collaboration, and team engagement and facilitates dispute resolution.
- Apply health equity and racial equity frameworks and tools to program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Identify opportunities and implement strategies to partner with and advance collaborative initiatives with other IPHI programs and stakeholders.

COMPENSATION : This position offers a salary range of $107,292 - $135,187 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

LOCATION : This position is located in Chicago. IPHI operates a hybrid office work model where team members work in the office two days per week (Tuesday - Thursday), and individuals may work in the office or remotely the other three days per week. There is travel for meetings and site visits within Chicago, suburbs, and Illinois. Occasional overnight travel within Illinois or nationally for conferences and training may be required.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS : Ongoing COVID-19 safety protocols are in place. We do require proof of vaccination or will accept a request for exemption based on religion. Although we do not require wearing a mask in our office, we do provide Kn95 masks to be worn in our common spaces or when working with others, should you want to engage in mask wearing.
