- Evaluate and improve operational processes to maximize efficiency, sustainability, and safety across all departments.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure seamless service delivery and operational alignment.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and assess department effectiveness.
- Work with department leaders to develop and monitor budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with district priorities.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies to optimize the use of resources.
- Manage capital improvement projects and ensure proper execution and reporting.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, community members, and external partners, to address operational needs and concerns.
- Represent the district at local, state, and national meetings or conferences as assigned.
- Ensure all operational departments comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including safety, environmental, and data security standards.
- Oversee the implementation of risk management protocols and safety standards across all operational areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Superintendent of Operations.
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Chief School Business Official endorsement preferred

- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing school district operations.
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and oversee capital improvement projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
