- Provides secretarial support in the Main Office, to ensure students, staff, parents and the public are properly assisted and are scheduled to meet with the appropriate administrator as needed for information/resolution. Coordinates and schedules meetings, and related tasks, including the preparation and distribution of necessary documents.
- Contacts parents/guardians, and others as instructed by the summer school administrator.
- Maintains files, including data entry (as assigned). Assists with the preparation and distribution of documents/reports/letters on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, as assigned.
- Maintains excellent communication and customer service with staff, students, and others who might visit the main office.
- Other tasks as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years of secretarial experience in a high school setting (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish – Written/Verbal)
- Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 25 lbs.
- This is a temporary position. Salary and benefits as established by the Board of Education.
