Job Summary
This position is responsible for marketing, communication, and external relations for 16 departments and schools, additional interdisciplinary programs, and the College Dean’s Office. Specifically the job entails promoting the College’s image and brand, managing College-wide communications, preparing College publications, planning community-facing College events, strengthening ties with external constituencies, facilitating the Dean’s work with advisory boards, supporting the work of College development officers, leading College level community outreach, facilitating the awarding of College level scholarships, and overseeing other special projects related to marketing, communication and alumni engagement. This position serves as the liaison to advancement and communication branches within the institution, such as University Advancement, Alumni Affairs, and University Marketing and Communication.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
63,500 - $76,655 annual
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, English, journalism, publishing, or a closely related field.
2. Four (4) years of professional level work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree
2. Demonstrated success working in a team environment
3. Familiarity with alumni engagement work
Work Hours
Core hours are 8am to 4 : 30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend events required.
Functional Expectations
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation :

2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work
