Job Summary

Student employees will work in Milner Library helping with book shelving, customer service, and / or special projects.

Applicants having Federal Work Study will be given first consideration.

Work environment may contain dust.

Required Qualifications

Must have a Driver's License or reliable transportation to report to University Archives if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Federal Work Study is preferred, but not required.

Work Hours

Work hours will vary depending on the position. Milner Library hours are typically 7 am - 3 am during the Fall and Spring semester.

Functional Expectations

Must be able to complete the following with or without reasonable accommodations :

1. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

2. Able to work in an environment with excess dust

3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis

This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and if applicable, an employment history review, based on University Policy 3.1.30 and any offer of employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation and / or an employment history review. Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
