Description: Welding Lab Assistant, Part-Time
Reports To: Welding Program Coordinator
Position Summary: Assist students with welding processes and positions. Assist program coordinator with lab set-up and machine maintenance. Welding processes in the program include: GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, and OAW.
Qualifications:
1. Associate’s Degree in Welding/Welding Technology –OR– High School diploma or GED with industry certification required.
2. At least two years of welding experience required.
3. Project a professional image at all time required.
4. Available to instruct day or evening classes required.
Salary: Non-exempt, min. $21.05 per hour based on experience
Working Conditions: Duties are performed in the usual classroom and lab environment
