What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher/Relief Driver (Full-time) position at Illinois Valley Economic Development Corp.?
Illinois Valley is looking to hire a full-time dispatcher for our Tri-County Rural Transit Program in Jerseyville. (Will consider part-time position dependent on need of applicants.) This position will perform dispatch and various other program and clerical duties for the Tri-County Rural Transit Program.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain up to date listing of fleet vehicles and assigned drivers.
- Serve as a substitute driver.
- Perform a variety of office and clerical support duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular attendance records.
- Keep facility clean and free of clutter.
- Communicate with drivers, riders, and other agencies as needed.
- Prepare manual and computerized files and records.
- Operate wheelchair lifts and restraints.
- Authorize route changes.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 and have a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent computer and customer service skills required.
- Must pass background, drug, and alcohol screenings.
- Must have valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance.

Salary to commensurate with experience.
