The IL Welding School is looking for an individual who has previous experience in the Education field as an Admissions Rep with Recruiting experience and Excellent Office Skills. We are looking for someone who will be enthusiastic, persistent, and passionate about the opportunity to tell prospective students and their families about the school's curriculum and the welding field opportunities. The day to day activities will consist of the following:

The day to day activities will consist of the following:
- Success through finding prospective students at Career Fairs, job fairs, high schools, and anywhere there are students interested in welding. The prospective students will be able to make a quality decision because of the skill set utilized in explaining welding courses, welding job opportunities, and benefits of attending the IL Welding School. This will be done through phone contacts, website inquires, marketing strategies, and any other venues to get the word out about the school. The success rate will be monitored through reports, keeping track of phone calls, and strategies for having a set number of new starts each month.
- Submitting paper work with excellence by utilizing proofreading abilities for signing up students for the courses, submitting necessary reports, creating student files, creating promotional materials for distribution to prospective students and assisting the Owners and staff as needed for meetings and various other activities.
Additional Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in admissions, recruiting and office skills for an educational institution or something related is required.
- Must be open to understanding the basic welding terms in our programs for the trades, which we will teach.
- Outstanding and phenomenal customer service skills are a must.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate information to various audiences.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, as well as follow-through skills.
- Self-Motivated and committed to professionalism with a positive attitude.
- Computer skills to create reports.
- Attention to detail.
- Multi-tasking skills that can adapt to a changing fast-paced environment.
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
Salary: Hourly pay rate $17-$20 dependent upon experience.
