Duties & Responsibilities
- Recruiting and Admissions –
• Liaison with Academics staff for football staff.
• Manage and coordinate all on campus admissions for incoming freshmen and transfer Coordinate the collection of documents required to certify the eligibility of students who transfer to the University;
• Lead efforts on Questionnaires of high school recruits and high school coaches:
• Design and coordinate overall structure and plan for key recruiting dates on the NCAA recruiting calendar, including but not limited to signing dates, relevant first day of communications for each class and, permissible scholarship offer window;
• Assist General Manager in maintaining accurate information in recruiting database;
• Develop direct communication plan with prospects and families for the coaching staff;
• Manage digital messaging and physical mailing plan;
• Preliminary transcript evaluations on high school and transfer prospects
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with designated state high school coaches association;
• Manage all correspondence with high school coaches for camps, clinics and general correspondences.
• Follow up with Compliance Office on each signee;
• Works with compliance staff to determine NCAA initial and transfer eligibility for each recruit; and direct each recruit through the admission cycle. - On-Campus Recruiting and Visits –
• Liaise with prospective student-athletes guidance offices and counselors to obtain copies of current transcripts, test scores and school officials' signature per NCAA rules prior to campus visit;
• Supervise travel arrangements for all potential recruits including flights, airport transportation per NCAA rules;
• Arrange and direct campus tours for recruiting during visits;
• Account for all guest at each meal per NCAA rules;
• Assist with all athletic ticket requests for official and unofficial visits for recruits, parents or legal
guardians, student-athlete hosts and recruiting coaches;
• Coordinate building aesthetics for all campus visits;
• Provide on-campus tours for prospective student-athletes and families at the direction of the General Manager;
• Construct and develop itineraries for multiple unofficial visits throughout the year;
• Schedule, supervise and manage all student employees during visits;
• Direct assistant coaches to gather and share information regarding recruits (invites, family names, guest,
• etc.); and
• Input pre and post visit compliance documents and ticket requests into the compliance software.
