Duties & Responsibilities
Construction and installation of windows, doors, concrete formwork, scaffolding, partition walls, suspended ceiling systems, LVT and modular carpet floor covering, interior systems, modular furniture, shingles, and other duties particular to the trade of carpentry at the University of Illinois.
Maintenance and repairs on suspended ceilings, shingles, modular furniture, manual projection screens, classroom seating, tablet armchairs, interior systems, and other duties particular to the trade of carpentry at the University of Illinois.
Installation of shelving, chalk and display boards, plaques, clocks, fire extinguishers, pictures, and all other types of wall hangings particular to the trade of carpentry at the University of Illinois.
Drive and operate service vehicles used for carpentry maintenance, installations, or repairs.
Cleans up job site upon completion of projects.
Responsible for proper use and care of carpenter equipment and tools.
