Duties & Responsibilities
Meet with students to monitor academic progress and adjustment to campus, provide resources and support as needed. Keep thorough records of all student contacts.
Coordinate ARISE activities including orientation, summer bridge, Spring retreat, and support program activities.
Track progress of ARISE students through regular feedback from instructors, tutors, and mentors. Create opportunities to proactively support students.
Work with New Student Programs, Marketing and Communication, and the Office of Admissions to coordinate program recruitment and yield efforts.
Recruit, train, and supervise undergraduate student staff and volunteers.
Perform other, additional academic support/recruitment duties to further the mission of Grainger Engineering, including occasional travel and evening and weekend work.
Keep a pulse on the job market with advanced job matching technology.
