Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach 5 courses, or equivalent, in any Fall, Spring, and Summer cycle. These may include large-enrollment lecture courses, large-enrollment multi-section lab courses, mid-sized, upper-level physiology lab courses, and smaller discussion courses;
- Train, supervise, and evaluate graduate Teaching Assistants, undergraduate Learning Assistants, and Prep Staff for these courses;
- Devise and deliver assigned courses utilizing evidence-based practices such as backward design and employing active-learning strategies, as well as maintaining and improving current course materials, and developing course content as needed.
- Assist the MCB Instructional Program team in supporting students in the School of MCB by participating in academic advising, mentoring, recruitment, and other ways, as needed.
