Duties & Responsibilities
Teach 5 courses, or equivalent, in any Fall, Spring, and Summer cycle. These may include large-enrollment lecture courses, large-enrollment multi-section lab courses, mid-sized, upper-level physiology lab courses, and smaller discussion courses;
Train, supervise, and evaluate graduate Teaching Assistants, undergraduate Learning Assistants, and Prep Staff for these courses;
Devise and deliver assigned courses utilizing evidence-based practices such as backward design and employing active-learning strategies, as well as maintaining and improving current course materials, and developing course content as needed.
Assist the MCB Instructional Program team in supporting students in the School of MCB by participating in academic advising, mentoring, recruitment, and other ways, as needed.
