Postion Overview:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Office of Inspector General (OIG) Bureau of Fraud Science & Technology is seeking to hire a qualified and energetic candidate to serve as a Systems Analyst in the Technology Management Unit. The position will serve as LAN coordinator for HFS OIG and will provide technical support to HFS OIG staff on computers, printers, software, and applications. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess strong organizational and communication skills, prioritize tasks, and ensure that timely completion of work is achieved. The desired candidate must be able to research, develop, evaluate, and resolve technical issues and enhance HFS OIG computer systems.

Essential Function
- Under general direction, serves as Systems Analyst for the Department of Healthcare & Family Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) by developing, implementing, and updating the OIG Case Administration and System Enquiry (CASE) and Dynamic Network Analytic (DNA) systems to support information Exchange, Transfer, and Load (ETL) functions
- Assists OIG staff with computer, fax, printer, and software issues
- Serves as liaison with DoIT Customer Service Center
- Serves as CASE Coordinator
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields, and requires one (1) year of professional experience in a related Information Technology field
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of professional experience providing support to users in an Information Technology (IT) environment
- One (1) year of professional experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
- One (1) year of experience showing working knowledge of IT hardware and software, languages, and procedures to provide assigned technical and analytical services
- One (1) year of experience gaining and maintaining working relationships with associates, vendors, clients, and others
- One (1) year of experience communicating verbally and through written communication to present technical information to others with clarity and precision
- One (1) year of experience analyzing data logically and exercise sound judgment in defining and evaluating problems of an operational or procedural nature
Conditions of Employment

- Requires ability to travel in performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
- Requires the ability to utilize and maintain state-issued equipment such as a laptop and mobile phone
