Position Overview
This position is accountable for analyzing, developing and implementing complex technology applications, preparing required reports to maintain the necessary administrative systems and data file operation reporting systems, and providing user assistance and training for technology resources throughout the department's District 9 area.
Essential Functions
- Ensures the development, maintenance, and documentation of technology applications to meet departmental, regional, and district technology goals and objectives.
- Develops and maintains data resources to ensure accurate information to District 9 users.
- Ensures adequate user training of technology applications by assessing user needs and training curriculum.
- Performs as technology team project leader on development projects as assigned.
- Provides the Regional Information Technology Manager with pertinent and timely application documentation for charter development.
- Performs duties in compliance with departmental safety rules.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
