The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing strategic guidance and day-to-day HR support for site leadership. This role will work alongside site teams, HR, and senior leadership, ensuring consistent implementation of HR practices and alignment with organizational goals. HRBP supports a range of HR functions, including employee relations, coaching, compliance, and workforce planning. This role will also involve direct oversight of site-specific HR activities such as disciplinary actions, Investigations, and town hall coordination. Additionally, this position plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, strengthening workplace culture, and ensuring effective communication between employees and our leadership team.
The pay range for this position is $70,000- $75,000 per year.

Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices across the site
- Collaborate with leadership to build action plans
- Support changing management efforts by advising managers on organizational transitions. Communication strategies, and team effectiveness
- Lead or support investigations related to employee concerns or misconduct
- Guide managers on employee engagement strategies to the Senior Leadership Team
- Review and approve disciplinary actions, counseling forms, and notes to file
- Conduct regular site check- ins and hold meetings with managers for coaching and guidance
- Facilitate exit interviews and manage terminations/separations, including final pay checks and documentation
- Support leaders with coaching and performance management strategies
- Provide training on HR policies, performance tools, and best practices
- Support the implementation of the ProAct trainer and related development initiatives
- Organize and lead employee town halls at assigned sites
- Promote a positive workplace culture through open communication and consistent HR presence
- Provide HR insight and recommendations in quarterly meetings with Berkshire leadership
- Partner with leaders to communicate organizational changes, policies, and HR updates in a clear and consistent manner
- Manage all aspects of workers compensation cases, including timely claim reporting, coordination with insurance carries, communication with the injured employees, and follow- up on treatment plans
- Follow state and federal works compensation regulations
- Partner with site leadership and safety teams to identify trends, reduce workplace incidents, and support return-to-work process
- Ensure accurate handling of employee documentation and records, including performance, leave, and disciplinary files
- Monitor HR metrics and trends to identify and recommend improvements
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with direct experience in employee relations, compliance, and strategic HR partnership
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information
- Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Experience supporting multi-site or distributed workforces, especially in manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environments
- Familiarity with ProAct or comparable employee development and training platforms
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms and HR analytics tools
