What are the responsibilities and job description for the Identity and Access Management Architect position at Illumination Works LLC?
Location and Travel Details: Cincinnati, OH hybrid or Charlotte, NC hybrid
The key responsibilities of Identity and Access Management Architect include:
- Create/maintain and review/approve other teammates’ information security related documentation
- Implement, maintain, and monitor security controls
- Advise developers on integrating security requirements
- Develop and maintain complex Identity and Access Management strategies for large scale, enterprise environment
- Leads the design, definition and implementation of security practices and Cybersecurity and Digital Risk standards
- Leads design and documentation of Identity & Access Management platform architecture and roadmap
Key skills for this position include:
- Proven track record of large-scale SaaS implementations
- Understanding of IAM principles (Customer Identity and Access Management preferred), including authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management
- Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, preferably on a large software or IT program
- Collaborating in a team environment
- Must be committed to developing and adhering to best practices and standard operating procedures
- In-depth knowledge of technology like SAML, OAuth/ OAuth2, OpenID Connect, MFA mechanisms, SSO, OIDC, FIDO, WebAuthN, risk-based authentication, data encryption, and session management
- Must be familiar with compliance framework and privacy regulations and how they apply to a IAM framework
- Must be a solutions-oriented team player and must possess a high level of self-initiative
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must have Security Certification
- CISSP or CISM strongly desired
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or comparable academic discipline
- Minimum experience requirements: ten years of experience required
- Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
Desired Experience:
- Experience with the SailPoint IdentityNow IAM system is strongly desired
- CISSP or CISM strongly desired
