Illumio is looking for a Customer Advocacy Specialist who loves customers as much as the company does.  The Customer Advocacy Specialist will put customer storytelling at the center of everything we do. This role will partner with our customer advocates to celebrate their success, and collaborate with a wide range of teams including customer success, marketing and sales.  

You should be a self-starter who is enthusiastic about celebrating customer success, a passionate marketer, a world-class collaborator and storyteller, and someone who is excited to shape the future of cybersecurity at a high-growth enterprise software company. 

This role reports to the Director, Customer Advocacy.

Your Impact:



  • Partner with the Sales & Customer Success teams to build our pipeline of customer advocates
  • Scale & foster a community of Illumio customer advocates and demonstrate, through their stories, their success in the industry
  • Support key use cases, products & partnerships in our customer storytelling
  • Become a trusted resource on our customer advocates’ stories; build a knowledgebase of customer use cases to help inform & connect customers with advocacy activities
  • Manage and support customer advocacy programs encouraging customers to participate in case studies and references
  • Coordinate customer participation in webinars, panel discussions, speaking opportunities at conferences & media/PR
  • Own the packaging & promotion of our customer stories for internal & external audiences
  • Manage and coordinate our customer reference program and tooling
  • Grow Illumio’s presence on third party review sites by facilitating the collection of customer reviews

Your Toolkit:



  • 3-5 years of customer advocacy experience, preferably with experience in enterprise security.
  • A track record of building trusted relationships with customers and tightly collaborating with internal partners. 
  • Excellent communication skills. A strong storyteller who can create strong storytelling across various media. 
  • Detail and results-oriented
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience with G2 crowd and Peer Insights 
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, or similar discipline

Compensation:

$122,000 USD - $140,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
