We are headquartered in Burlington, MA with business operations around the world, including Asia, India, Europe and Latin America.
Illumynt is also engaged in the business of wholesale distribution of technology equipment including computers, computer components and peripherals, networking and telecommunications hardware and other electronic products. We obtain supply on consignment and through direct purchase from end users, large manufacturers (OEM’s) and distributers who find themselves with excess inventory. We re-sell those products to end users, other OEM’s, distributers, resellers and brokers worldwide.
Position Summary:
The Senior Director, Strategic Accounts will work to increase company revenue by identifying profitable
strategic, programmatic, and contractual business opportunities and developing long-term business
growth strategies for illumynt. This role will develop and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and work closely with all departments within the organization. Your primary role will be to generate inbound supply and manage the vendor relationships to ensure there is consistent supply.
As a Senior Director, Strategic Accounts, your job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Source, propose and develop strategic, programmatic, and contractual partnerships for illumynt.
· Builds strong relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
· Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
· Manage strategic client relationships and work to build new ones.
· Researches and identifies new markets.
· Manages sales activity to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets established by sales management.
· Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
· Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
· Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
· Helps to shape the company’s objectives and determines plans for how to meet them.
· Leads and prepares all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFP’s) from potential partners and customers.
· Selects strategic partnerships and negotiates terms and conditions of contracts.
· Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
· Other projects as assigned by management.
· Travel to customer and Illumynt locations as needed for customer support.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven work experience as a Strategic account manager or Key account manager
- Strong sales experience in B2B environment
- Hands on experience with CRM software and Account management systems
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
- Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
· Strong executive maturity: proven ability to communicate across a highly matrixed organization
- Availability to travel as needed
- BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
