Position Summary
- The Nurse Injector will consult with patients to gain an understanding of their desired outcome
- They will perform FDA cleared aesthetic noninvasive injectable treatments including Botox and fillers
- Passion for communicating to patients with warmth, ability to explain procedures and instructions
Essential Duties/Functions
- Provide aesthetic services such as Botox neurotoxin injections and dermal fillers
- Efficient with micro needling/IPL treatments, preferably Morpheus8/Lumecca
- A strong knowledge about skin care to provide comprehensive education to our patients
- Provide the above services in a safe, professional, and skilled manner
- Assess patients needs during consultations
- Establish and maintain rapport with patients to ensure overall satisfaction
- Evaluate patients candidacy for treatments and perform the treatment the same day
- Gain an understanding of patients medical history
- Pursue opportunities to educate patients on additional services
- Ensure client paperwork and records are filled out completely and accurately
- Develop treatment plans; educate the patient on procedure
- Answer patient questions and concerns
- Work closely with other staff members; cross recommending treatments, and products
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each patient
- Sustain proficiency through continuous education and trainings
- Collaborate with medspa, sales, marketing, and operations teams to achieve company goals
- Assist with taking standardized photos if required
- Assist with unpackaging and restocking inventory
- Check sharps boxes and change any that are full
- Maintain patient, team member, and employer confidentiality. Comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Continue education by staying up to date with industry innovation, treatments, protocols, and products
- Complete all mandatory training
- Follow all state, federal and/or local health and safety rules, laws, and regulations
- Additional job duties as assigned
Education
Current Michigan RN license, BSN preferred
Experience
Minimum three (3) years experience as a nurse injector
Interpersonal Skills and Attributes
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient health information
- Ability to focus on patient safety, teamwork, patient outcomes, patient experience and quality improvement
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong communication skills: written and verbal and interpersonal
- Microsoft Office experience
- Friendly personality and hospitable bedside manner
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Basic computer skills
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance
- Knowledge of medical terminology, principles, standards, applications, and tests Knowledge of medical office safety, cleanliness, and infection control policies and regulations
