Our client needs a Continuous Improvement Engineer to add to their growing team. In this role you will utilize continuous improvement and lean manufacturing to solve problems and address long-term process improvement and capital equipment projects. You will report to the Director of Safety and Process Improvement.

- Lead in continuous improvement projects and kaizen events, employing methodologies such as Lean and the 80/20 Pareto Principle to drive ongoing process enhancements.
- Create detailed process through Value Stream Maps (VSMs), documenting current and future state workflows.
- Gather and analyze data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies and track improvements over time.
- Evaluate current organizational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and propose practical solutions, including process redesign, automation, or technology enhancements.
- Facilitate change management efforts by communicating proposed improvements, obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to ensure that optimized processes are effectively adopted and maintained by teams.
- BS Engineering, Operations or related field
- 3 years of continuous improvement experience, preferably in a metal fabrication or assembly operation
- Ability to effectively lead a team in Kaizen events and work collaboratively will all levels of staff
- Proven process improvement experience
- Knowledge of statistical analysis
