Our client, a multi-billion-dollar heavy manufacturer, is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join their team at their Pittsburgh headquarters. This is an onsite position, working 40 hours per week, offering high visibility and opportunities to make a significant creative impact.
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in developing compelling visuals across a variety of media. Projects will range from creative campaign assets to print collateral, digital graphics, brochures, advertisements, trade show signage, catalogs, and more. You’ll be expected to maintain consistency with established brand guidelines while continuously pushing creative boundaries and introducing fresh, innovative ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
Design high-quality visual materials for print and digital platforms, including brochures, flyers, ads, large-format signage, trade show graphics, catalogs, and more.
Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs while exploring new concepts to enhance visual storytelling.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative assets for campaigns and sales initiatives.
Support content creation for social media, ensuring brand voice and messaging alignment.
Assist with updates and visual enhancements for company websites.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in occasional travel for trade shows or on-site projects across the U.S.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field (an AA degree with relevant experience will also be considered).
Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across various media formats.
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Solid understanding of design principles: composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
Strong knowledge of social media trends and content design for multiple platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Creative, self-motivated, and collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
Highly organized and results-driven, with a passion for staying current with design trends and best practices.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and project scopes.
Preferred:
Experience with website content updates.
Familiarity with creating messaging and visual content for social media campaigns.
