Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on new product lines to design for cost-effective manufacturing
- Create workplace layouts using motion economy and handling principles
- Conduct time studies and analyze variances to identify improvements
- Develop and maintain labor standards; monitor and adjust as needed
- Investigate and implement the most effective manufacturing methods
- Maintain performance within budget and track cost-reduction efforts
- Analyze and measure work content for support labor functions
- Support planning and control through Management Information Systems
- Promote labor morale through fair, equitable standards
- Ensure lowest-cost methods of production without sacrificing quality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of industrial engineering experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Collaborative team player with an eye for process improvement
