Reports to:Product Line Manager
Essential Duties:
- Write application notes.
- First line of contact for the internal Technical Sales Support grouprelated to application questions.
- Ability to test the product in the application.
- Have direct interactions with customers both remotely and in persononce detailed application related questions arise.
- Draft training material for internal and external use.
- Provide marketing input to the Product Line Manager from Salesand Customer interactions.
- Draft marketing material in conjunction with the MarketingCommunications group.
- Attend industry conferences and participates in industry societies.
- Conduct webinars & customer training seminars.
- Attend internal Company training and coordination events.
- Support sales to complete customer acceptance of Company product use:
- Answer application and product related questions prior to sale.
- Provide training on product & application basics to sales andtarget customers.
- For large or nuanced opportunities, communicate detailed technical information to proposal team or PLM for quoting.This may require a visit to the site.
- Answer application related questions as they arise.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- BSEE, Professional Experience, or technical experience.
- Travel up to 40%.
- Power system experience.
- Familiarity with power system simulation and coordination software.
- Interest in aspects of the evolving power system, such as DC power,DERs, IBRs, BESS, microgrids etc.
