You’d be solving problems like:
- Replacing an outdated sewer system with a 30” pipe to support a growing city
- Designing all utilities and sitework for a new 23-story hotel
- Transforming a wooded lot into a high-end campground retreat
- Protecting an electrical substation built in a floodplain from flooding
- Guiding a multi-family apartment development from concept to ribbon cutting
💼 What You’ll Do:
- Design site layouts, grading, utilities, drainage, and paving plans
- Lead projects with client communication, public feedback, and internal coordination
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and design
- Mentor junior staff and ensure QA throughout all phases
- Write specs, estimate costs, and lead construction site visits
- Work across teams with engineers, surveyors, and government agencies
- Create proposals, identify project opportunities, and support client growth
🔍 What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE Licensure in Indiana (Michigan is a bonus!)
- 5 years of experience managing site development and land transformation
- 5 years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry.
