Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Office Building Maintenance Technician & Vendor Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, repairs, and vendor management for our office facility and additional properties. This role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, the ability to source and coordinate vendors, and strong computer skills for tracking work orders, vendor contracts, and reports. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual (English / Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities : Building Maintenance & Repairs :

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the office building to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
  • Perform minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues efficiently.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Vendor Sourcing & Coordination :

  • Identify, source, and coordinate vendors for maintenance and repair services for multiple properties .
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet company quality and compliance standards.
  • Schedule and oversee vendor work to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
  • Maintain vendor agreements, contracts, and service logs.
  • Facility Operations & Administrative Duties :

  • Track maintenance requests, work orders, and vendor services using maintenance management software.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring necessary materials are stocked.
  • Assist with office space planning and facility improvement projects.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, vendor performance, and budget tracking.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, facility management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Excellent computer skills , including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and maintenance management software.
  • Experience managing vendors across multiple properties.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate projects efficiently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
  • Education & Experience :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Trade certification or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in building maintenance and vendor coordination.
  • Work Schedule & Benefits :
