A Customer Service Representative works to develop leads to grow a relationship with potential borrowers. Through that process, they will explain our Funds and Investment Loan Products and answer any questions about the investment process. A good Customer Service - Sales Representative anticipates customer concerns and offers practical solutions to resolve them.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist every customer in a professional manner.
- Data entry
- Utilize strong communication and critical thinking skills to engage customers quickly, sell them on the benefits of our loan products and build lasting relationships.
- Contact borrowers primarily via phone with email support to examine their loan applications, gather missing information, discuss financial needs, and make sound recommendations about what product best fits their investment needs.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert to guide clients throughout the loan process by delivering exceptional customer service and building trust through expertise, responsiveness, and support.
- Process loan applications to determine customer eligibility and send out pre-approval numbers.
- Verify all loan packaging documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to Origination Manager.
- Create urgency, address concerns, and set the proper expectations for the customer.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or sales industry preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented with sales skills and ambition.
- Proficient PC skills - you will operate with two large screens with various applications running on both.
- Mathematical Skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, interest, and percentages.
- Ability to exhibit effective time management/organizational skills to manage a pipeline of up to 20 applications in various stages of completion.
- A coachable attitude and ownership spirit to get the job done through effective relationship building, assumptive selling, and persuasion.
