Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION : The Center Director is responsible for the overall business operations and management of the language center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Entrepreneurial orientation (Responsible for overall budget ownership)
- Analyze profitability, revenue, and margins
- Proactively report P&L status against financial objectives and identify anomalies
- Develop and meet KPI targets and other financial goals developed alongside Regional Director
- Propose innovative business opportunities to increase revenue or decrease costs

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
Education : BA from an accredited college / university and TEFL Certificate with equivalent experience required; MA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or related field preferred.
Experience : A minimum of three years managing an ESL or educational program with full supervisory responsibilities, including hiring / evaluating personnel. Experience in sales and fiscal management and cross-cultural or international experience preferred.
COMPETENCIES :
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITITES : The Center Director is direct supervisor for administrative
staff at the center, including the Academic Director, Registrar, International Student Advisor
and IELTS Administrator.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and exerting up to pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
WORK ENVIRONMENT : This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
