Wardrobe Assistant - Las Vegas, NV (2025)

Las Vegas Based Position

iLuminate is a company that fuses technology and art in live entertainment (www.iLuminate.com). We are currently seeking an experienced Wardrobe Assistant to join our team on iLuminate’s Las Vegas residency at The Strat. This position will assist in wardrobe maintenance and repairs during prep hours, and transition into working backstage during the performances. Onsite training will be provided.

The show runs 6 days a week, with both matinee and evening performances. Candidates must be based in the Las Vegas, NV area to be considered.

Requirements:

​ Preferred: 2 years of previous experience working as Wardrobe Assistant in live entertainment

• Experience working with dancers and other onstage talent

• Experience in stitching, wardrobe maintenance

• Working knowledge of costumes, and props. LED, EL Wire and Fiber experience is a plus. Not required.

• Works well under pressure, and is a team player

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must be self-motivated, have initiative, and work with little to no supervision

• Good hand dexterity, attentiveness to detail, and efficiency speed are a must

• Able to take direction with a positive attitude and work well/ respect fellow colleagues

• Previous experience in a multicultural group environment is a plus;

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job including, but not limited to: crouching, kneeling, standing, lifting, sometimes for extended amounts of time; lifting at least 50 lbs unassisted.

• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays;

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Assist in day to day maintenance, projects, laundry, etc to completion;

• Communicate effectively with team on daily show notes

• Run backstage wardrobe/dresser track during performances

• Maintain quality work practices and maintenance techniques;

• Promote and develop team-oriented philosophy stressing the importance for providing unparalleled commitment to excellence in service.

• Contribute to a safe and positive working environment at all times by adhering to and following all iLuminate standards, values, policies and regulations pertaining to safety using equipment and established working methods;

• Assist our tech department when necessary for cross-departmental support;

• Complete all other job-related duties as assigned.

Rate: $25.00/hr
