ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:



  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.

  • Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.

  • Handles escalated claim issues for all clients timely and efficiently.

  • Able to document all interactions with members via internal processes.

  • Able to participate in client meetings such as health fairs and open enrollment.

  • Able to develop an understanding of enrollment systems to advise employees and front-line team of proper protocols.

  • Able to develop an understanding of benefit policies and can educate members on how their plans work.

  • Assists AM team during open enrollment to answer member questions.

  • Works with Employee Education Lead to create employee education content flyers and presentations.

  • Understands HIPAA and communicates with members in compliant methods.

  • Interacts professionally and timely with Employee Benefits Team via email, phone, and in-person.

  • Monitors and prioritizes workload, taking into consideration deadlines and special instructions with strong attention to detail.

  • Supports Account Managers and entire team by completing tasks and activities with the ability to report on current workflow in a timely manner.

  • Performs special projects as assigned.


 


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:



  • 1 year or more of similar or related experience preferred

  • Strong computer proficiency required

  • Experience with MS Office Suite required (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Limited travel required (less than 25%)

  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Spanish language skills preferred
