Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Uses consultative sales approach to identify prospects, their needs, and offers tailored solutions
- Pursues and sells our services to retirement plan prospects
- Solidifies client relationships and maintains responsibility for ongoing client service in conjunction with IMA team
- Completes investment analysis of clients/prospects investment portfolio and provides guidance and recommendations
- Provides strategic recommendations and tactical implementation of plan enhancements, including but not limited to vendor selection and conversions, plan design optimization, compliance oversight, and investment due diligence
- Works collaboratively with entire IMA team to provide a consistent client experience
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external partners
- Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values
- Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years' sales experience in the retirement plan services required
- FINRA Series 65 required (additional licensing may be needed)
- Life Insurance and Variable Contracts licenses preferred
- Knowledge of ERISA laws and the retirement plan industry preferred
- Moderate travel required (25-50%)
- Experience with MS Office products and other business oriented systems (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
