Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Receiving and Distribution: Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring all items are properly stored and documented.
- Storekeeper Supervision: Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to storekeepers to ensure they meet expectations.
- Warehouse Optimization: Analyze storage capacity, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics; supervisory experience a plus.
- Skillset: Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
