What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent Care Medical Receptionist position at IMA Urgent Care Shrewsbury?
We have an opportunity for you to join Integrated Medicine Alliance (IMA) in Shrewsbury as a full-time Medical Receptionist in our Urgent Care center. The shift is Monday through Friday, with some weekends. Our front desk representatives' primary responsibilities are greeting patients, checking in patients, collecting co-pays/deductibles/co-insurances, checking out patients, scheduling, answering multi telephone lines, daily close reconciliation, verification, entering billing charges, appointment reminders and excellent patient service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Front Desk basic qualifications and skills are as follows:
- 1 year of medical experience (preferably in a front office, scheduling, receptionist capacity)
- Insurance verification
- Medical billing and authorization experience preferred
- Excellent patient service and phone skills
- Ability to interact with patients, coworkers and clinicians
- Great personality and interpersonal skills a must
- Familiarity with Greenway Intergy a plus
