Responsibilities:- Works with co-workers and customers with file transfers, design options, proofs, etc.
- Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer
- Provides accurate proofs/renderings to clients in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate and work with customers to create and deliver high-quality, creative, and accurate proofs
- Assists in the maintenance of all equipment, including computers, plotters, and printers
- Maintains accurate electronic and paper records of File Storage for all proofs/renderings
- Works on different projects simultaneously
- Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments
- Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Experience with multiple computer software programs is needed, specifically Adobe Creative Suite
- Illustrator and Photoshop, and rip software, including Flexi, Onyx, and Versa Works, preferred.
- Strong PC skills and internet, publishing software, and sign production software skills
- Previous experience as a graphic designer, sign-related computer operator, or desktop
- publishing required, including an advanced level of experience using Adobe applications,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions, and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)
- Able to work well under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work
- Able to sit and view a computer screen for long periods
- Able to lift 50 or more pounds
- Able to use light power equipment
