This is a cleaning route. Please read carefully. The job requires that you be mobile reliable transportation. All routes are (within a 1 hour radius which means there all 5 to 10 minutes apart ... each cleaning will take less than 20 minutes

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Execute floor care tasks such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of various surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management promptly.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal and recycling efforts.
- Support porter responsibilities by ensuring that all areas are tidy and organized.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Experience in residential painting is a plus, demonstrating versatility in maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and standards.
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in diverse environments.
- Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing, waxing, and polishing surfaces.

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
