The company’s products include exterior and interior signage, architectural elements, interior fixtures, millwork, kiosks and printed graphics. The company is based in the Atlanta metro area and operates approximately 160,000 square feet of manufacturing space in two facilities in Dallas, GA and Norcross, GA. The company’s serves a blue-chip customer base of restaurants, convenience stores, retailers and general contractors.
Job Summary
The Vice President of Finance for IMG RetailOne will lead the financial, accounting, and treasury functions of the company, collaborating with other members of management to maximize profitability and drive sustainable growth. The newly created position will be a senior executive of the company, providing insights and developing strategies that support operational efficiency, cost control, and effective resource allocation in a competitive industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee accounting department, maintenance of general ledgers and the monthly closing process.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate and lead the annual review process, liaising with external accounting firm and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
- Implement and oversee effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and guidance on financial planning and business decisions to the executive team and the Board.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial strategies to drive profitability and growth in alignment with the company’s long-term objectives.
- Lead cost optimization to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Oversee the development, management, and analysis of annual budgets and long-range financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
- Monitor and report key financial performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and advising on corrective actions.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, working capital optimization, and liquidity management.
- Develop and maintain banking relationships to secure favorable credit terms and optimize the company’s financing strategies.
- Lead capital planning, investment strategy, and ensure effective deployment of financial resources to maximize returns.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks, with a focus on supply chain risk, regulatory compliance, and project cost controls.
- Oversee insurance and bonding requirements for projects, ensuring all financial risks are effectively managed.
Human Resources:
- Serve as primary liaison with the company’s professional employer organization (PEO).
- Manage annual renewal of healthcare plans and other benefits.
- Develop and maintain effective human resource policies.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide development opportunities, feedback, and training to support team members' growth and retention.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries, with a proven track record of strategic financial management.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial modeling, treasury, and capital management. Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office and financial software. Knowledge of percentage completion accounting a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and drive cross-functional collaboration, with excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Insight: Knowledge of the construction or manufacturing industries, including supply chain, cost structures, and market trends.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically while implementing practical, actionable steps to drive growth.
- Change Management: Proven track record of managing financial and organizational change in a growing, dynamic business environment.
