Schedule & Location
- Full-Time: Monday through Friday
- Blossom Hill Office
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments before procedures, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as required
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, scheduling, and appointments using practice management software.
- Maintain sterilization procedures for instruments and work areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
- Help with inventory management, including ordering and stocking dental supplies as needed.
- Build rapport with patients, addressing their concerns and optimizing their experience in the office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred.
- Current certification in coronal polishing and dental radiology preferred.
- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in dental software and technology
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to teamwork.
