We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic orthodontic team. As a key member of our practice, the Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for guiding patients through their orthodontic treatment journey, ensuring a positive experience from the initial consultation to the completion of treatment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong aptitude for customer service, and a passion for helping others achieve their best smiles.
Schedule
- This is a full-time position (30 hours per week)
- This is an Alternative Work Schedule (4/10)
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and provide them with a thorough overview of the orthodontic treatment process.
- Conduct initial consultations and assessments, explaining treatment options, benefits, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with the orthodontist to develop customized treatment plans for patients.
- Present treatment plans to patients and their families, including options for financing and payment plans.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation and patient records are accurately maintained and updated.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth transitions between consultations, adjustments, and other treatment appointments.
- Follow up with patients to confirm appointments and address any last-minute questions or concerns.
- Discuss payment options, including insurance benefits, financing solutions, and payment plans with patients.
- Contribute to a positive and professional office environment that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining patient records and managing office supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator in an orthodontic or dental office is preferred
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with strong abilities in negotiation and influencing
- Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Must be comfortable and effective when speaking with patients regarding their treatment as well as talking about the financials of the treatment.
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with dental management software.
- Highly enthusiastic, supportive team player with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Strong ability to learn new skills and a teachable approach.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and proficient time management.
- Compassionate, caring, and committed to providing exceptional patient services.
- Punctual and reliable in all professional dealings.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
