What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Credentialing Liaison position at ImageCare Radiology?
ImageCare Radiology is looking to hire multiple candidates with specific credentialing experience for our Hackettstown office.
SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Credentialing Liaison will be responsible for assisting the credentialing company with maintaining active status for all providers by successfully completing initial and subsequent credentialing packages as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications as needed.
- Screen applications and supporting documents for completion/compliance.
- Assist onboarding and existing TMGNJ members with credentialing inquiries.
- Maintain organized documentation of credentialing dates/linking dates to mitigate lapses in eligibility.
- Work independently and with the credentialing company to ensure all providers are credentialed and linked to The Medical Group of New Jersey.
- Work closely with the credentialing company and billing manager to resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area;
- E.G. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 1 years of related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
