GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Full-Time Greeter to join our team! As a Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a seamless, welcoming, and comfortable experience at ImageCare Radiology. Responsible for managing the waiting room ambiance, assisting with door entry, and guiding elderly patients with iPads, the Greeter enhances the patient experience at every touchpoint. This compassionate, detail-oriented individual must have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to collaborate with both patients and staff to maintain smooth operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Serve as the first point of contact for all patients entering the waiting room.
- Enhance the waiting room ambiance by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and a soothing environment to ensure a pleasant and calm atmosphere for patients.
- Open doors for patients as they arrive, offering a helping hand to those in need, especially for elderly or mobility-challenged individuals.
- Assist patients, especially those from the aging population, with navigating iPads for check-in or any tech-related queries, guiding them through the process in a patient, clear, and understanding manner.
- Facilitate a positive patient experience by addressing immediate needs, answering questions, and keeping patients informed about the next steps.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient flow and promptly address any concerns.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage with and assist patients, particularly the elderly or those requiring additional help. Comfortable with technology, specifically iPads or tablets, with the ability to guide others in using them.
