What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time HR Representative position at ImageCare Radiology?
ImageCare Radiology is a medical imaging healthcare company with over 20 outpatient imaging facilities throughout New Jersey. We are seeking four (4) dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Representative to join our dynamic HR team.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
**The rate of compensation will be commensurate with experience.**
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Human Resource Representative will assist the Recruiting representatives, Regional Directors, and PEO/HRO service with complex and specialized administrative tasks, including reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports. In addition, employees are expected to streamline onboarding and termination proceedings within the company and ensure managers and staff are utilizing approved resources and up-to-date forms and materials—upkeep personnel records in a professional and safe environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
- Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
- Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
- Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
- Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers.
- Plans and supports company-wide information meetings such as open enrollment, new hire orientation, and meetings to announce or discuss changes in retirement or benefits plans.
- Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training.
- Communicates regularly with status updates to managers and C-Suite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- SHRM certification or equivalent such as HRCI, is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR role or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
