ImageCare Radiology is looking for a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Central Jersey offices. The schedule will be set Mondays, 8AM or 8 : 30AM - 4 : 30PM or 5PM. Possible Saturdays (schedule for Saturdays would be 8AM-4PM

This Role will be based primarily in Woodbridge with the possibility of travel to our Middletown facility.

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will assist the Physician, Anesthesiologist, or Technologist in providing quality professional and knowledgeable medical care to their patients. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Triage patients and prepare them for exam. Organize and research patient records asneeded for daily patient schedule. Treat and care for patients within scope of statemedical guideline.
• Assist Technologist with patient care, treatment and education.
• Assist Technologist with any adverse reactions a patient might experience with contrastinjections (Shortness of breath, Rash).
• Document in patients' medical record as needed with regards to treatment and progressnotes.
• Perform diagnostic procedures as trained and administer injections. Pre and postprocedure teaching. Assist physician with surgical procedures.
• Return patients phone calls when applicable.
• Order supplies for exam rooms and ensure that exam rooms are ready for patients.
• Address patients needs and questions as they arise in a professional and courteousmanner.
• Assist with The Breast Center Navigation system with regards to patient follow up, callingreferring Physicians as needed.
• Adheres to the strict guidelines outlined by the AMA regarding safe handling of narcoticmedications.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

License / Certification :

Flu Vaccination Requirement : It is ImageCare's Company Policy that all personnel must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot.
