The Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations across multiple facilities within the Hospital division. This role ensures that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. The Regional Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance professionals, develop and implement maintenance strategies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Maintenance Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Implement and maintain a critical spare parts strategy that ensures they are readily available when needed
- Manage the maintenance budget and control costs.
- Equipment and Facility Management:
- Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance performance.
- Technology Integration
- Utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to enhance maintenance processes and improve efficiency
- Serve as the technology expert and ensure proper adoption by the local teams
- Training and Skill Development
- Ensuring that maintenance personnel are well-trained and have the necessary skills to perform tasks effectively
- This includes ongoing training and access to up-to-date maintenance manuals and resources
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a regional or multi-site role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
