Position Overview:
ImageFIRST is seeking a VP of Finance Operations responsible for overseeing and optimizing finance processes and project management across the entire CFO’s team. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading & coordinating key financial processes, driving process improvements, and supporting the successful delivery of key projects within the finance function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance, a strong track record of project management within a finance organization, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. The role will report to the CFO of ImageFIRST.
This role will be based in Elsmford, NY or King of Prussia, PA.
Project Management:
· Oversee & lead key financial processes, projects, initiatives, to ensure timely and successful execution of key deliverables.
· Work closely with other departments to coordinate finance-related projects, such as system implementations, process changes, and financial transformations.
· Develop an overall approach to Project Management within the finance organization which includes tracking progress against timelines and providing regular status updates to the CFO and other key stakeholders.
· Collaborate with other senior leaders across finance, IT, operations, and business units to ensure alignment and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Process Optimization & Efficiency:
· Lead the design, development, implementation and tracking of efficient financial processes (Annual Operating Plan, Business Reviews, etc.), ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
· Act as a strategic partner to the CFO, providing insights on operational challenges, resources, technology, and opportunities for improvement within the finance team.
· Drive automation initiatives and introduce best practices for continual improvement.
Change Management & Strategic Planning:
· Lead and manage change initiatives within the finance function, including the adoption of new technologies and processes.
· Contribute to strategic planning for the finance function, helping to align team operations with broader corporate strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
· Experience: 8 years of combined experience in finance and in successfully leading finance related projects/processes. Experience working within complex, multi-department organizations is a plus.
Skills:
- Proven track record of leading and executing projects and process improvements.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software (e.g. Oracle).
