Description
Looking to expand our service department with a copier service technician. No experience necessary but preferred. Willing to train the right person. Looking for someone who is reliable and self motivated, mechanically inclined and looking for a long term career.
Responsibilities
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on black & white and color digital copiers, faxes, printers and scanners. Troubleshoot network printing and network scanning capabilities of digital multifunctional equipment.
- Provide outstanding service to our internal and external clients. Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose each service call
- Ensure that all mechanical repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufactures specifications
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate car inventory
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on copiers and network
- Set up new installs to network including printing and scanning
- Effectively and efficiently respond to service calls on a daily basis
- Maintain high level Customer satisfaction by clarifying Customer needs and ensuring that they are met.
- Handle Customer-relation problems promptly and appropriately, escalate issues according to established procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- May be required to take and pass a Core Basic Copier Technology Exam.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
- Must work well with customers and exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- This position requires a working knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
