We are seeking a skilled Implementation Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our software as a service (Saas) healthcare technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and experience in project management of Saas models.
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in managing successful implementations for new and returning healthcare customers, is the primary point of contact for concurrent projects, and works within a cross-functional customer delivery model.
Responsibilities:
- Project management
- Detailed project plan management
- Ensure requirements are clearly captured and customer is positioned for success
- Ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time and of high quality
- Perform risk management and implement measures to correct
- Create and distribute pertinent information and status reports to management and customer
- Lead customer and internal calls
- Works independently to plan, monitor, and manage complex customer facing projects
- Applies business and product knowledge to address client requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver quality product and service
- Issue resolution and mitigation strategies based on data-driven decision making
- Build partnerships with customer counterparts
Qualifications:
- 5 years' experience managing multiple projects to successful completion, preferably in healthcare technology
- Experience leading large scale implementation projects
- Well-organized with a strong attention to detail
- Self-starter and accountable, with a track record of delivering strong performance
- Experience collaborating effectively across various levels and areas, internal and external
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to understand and support the customer
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products and project planning tools (i.e., Microsoft Project)
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Project management certification or LEAN
- Understanding of healthcare payers, TPAs, and other key stakeholders in the healthcare marketplace
Work across multiple time zones in remote work environment
May require travel to client site or company headquarters – approx. 10-15%
