Applied Image is seeking a talented and motivated Production Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of print production, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established timelines.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Lead and assist organizing daily production operations
· Maintaining production process, focusing on early problem identification and resolution, enabling greater efficiency and minimal rework
· Oversee PreProduction Department: Setup print ready graphics and perform other pre-press related actions on client provided files.
· Communicate with customers as needed to discuss production and graphic design issues
Shop capacity planning and direct communication with the Shop Foreman
Maintenance of job and project schedule, recording the completion of job pre-production and production for general office use.
Personnel decisions working directly with the Human Resources Manager and Executive team (including interviews, hiring, and job notices)
Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator graphic software, experience using these (or similar) tools in a print production environment
· Experience with production of wide format graphics

Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in the Printing Industry
- Minimum 5 years in Management
- Ability to work and interact with a variety of individuals
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven and multi project coordination environment
