Printing, Die Cut and Laminate Press Equipment Operator

Summary: The Printing, Die Cut and Laminate Press Equipment Operators will safely operate numerous industrial machines and equipment involved in printing and die cutting materials.

Essential Functions:

· Operate industrial machinery including digital label , laminate, die cut and flexographic presses in accordance with prints and specifications.

· Obtain knowledge of all machines and tools in the printing and die cutting area.

· Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.

· Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup, safety and alignment and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.

· Maintain good attendance, flexibility in job assignment, adaptability to changing business needs and continually learn and apply new skills.

· Foster a cooperative, productive, and collaborative environment and meet minimum physical demand.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Verify accuracy of job order documentation and purchased parts per work order instruction.

· Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.

· Loading and unloading stock.

· Changing rolls of material, die cutters and anvils per job requirements.

·Perform quality checks on all job assignments.

· Perform visual and manual tests as needed.

· Operation of hand or power tools if required.

· Train others as needed.

· Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, use fractions and decimals.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, prints, and job orders.

· Employees must be detail oriented.

· Familiarity with machine operation recommended.

· Must be flexible and available for overtime as required.

· Must perform all essential job functions and meet physical demand requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
