KPVI Channel 6 in Pocatello, Idaho, has a great opportunity for a self-motivated person to join our sales team. As a KPVI Media Consultant (Account Executive), you will be helping businesses grow through our local news and other programming that includes NFL Sunday Night Football (including the Super Bowl in 2026), Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and the Olympics.

Primary Duties
- Generate consistent revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard top sales talent to build a high-performing team.
- Analyze market trends, ratings data, and other relevant information to optimize sales strategies.
- Forecast sales targets and manage budgets effectively to achieve business goals.
- Price products and control inventory to maximize profitability.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of traffic systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adhere to broadcast sales policies, ethical guidelines, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with political rules and regulations in sales operations.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external clients.
- Demonstrate reliability, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and high energy in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
- Utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other software applications to streamline work processes.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, ensure reliable transportation, and maintain a good driving record for travel requirements.
Working Conditions
- Hours vary but are primarily 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday – Friday
- Daily travel is required, but typically nothing overnight
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with WideOrbit Media Sales and/or OSI a plus
- Effective time management as well as oral and written communication skills
- Excellent personal skills, a competitive drive, and ambitious nature
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, and general public
