What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Coordinator position at Imagicomm Communications?
FOX23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma is looking for a Content Coordinator. This person is a key part of the digital and assignment desk team as we are in some pretty exciting times in the newsroom. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to digital content on all platforms
- Confirm and cover breaking news, local news and statewide news
- Schedule posts on website, social media platforms
- Writes news stories in AP style for website and social platforms
- Edits reporter stories for AP style for website and social platforms
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism (or a related field) or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Ability to write and edit copy for website and other digital platforms
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team player who works well with others
- Proficiency in using content management systems, social media platforms and other digital tools is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of SEO Optimization is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work any shift.
